Cookie Notice
Draft — pending review.
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Interact DC uses as few as it can.
What we set
| Cookie | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
sessionid | Keeps you signed in as you move between pages | Two weeks, or until you sign out |
csrftoken | Protects forms against being submitted from another site on your behalf | A year |
Both are strictly necessary: without them you could not sign in, and forms could not be submitted safely. We do not ask permission for these, and under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations we do not have to.
What we do not set
There is no analytics, no advertising, and nothing that follows you to other sites. We do not build a profile of you and we do not sell anything about you.
Other companies
When you buy credits, the payment page loads software from PayPal so your card details go to them directly rather than passing through us. PayPal sets its own cookies and checks the device you are using, which is how card fraud is detected. This only happens on the payment page. PayPal's own notice explains what they collect.
Some parts of the site load styling and scripts from public code distribution networks (jsDelivr and DataTables). They do not set cookies, but like any request your browser makes, those requests tell them your IP address.
Turning them off
Your browser can block or delete cookies. Blocking ours will stop you signing in, because the sign-in itself depends on one.
If this changes
Adding analytics or anything that tracks people would mean asking your permission first. If that ever happens, this page changes and you will be asked.
